Business Unit Reporting

To report on your cost centres, divisions, projects or programs use Report on Business Units to guide you. This will show you how to leverage your accounting system using jobs, projects, tracking categories or customers/classes/locations. You can also build Business Unit Trees to report on predefined groups of Business units.

Multiple Company Reporting

There are a few more steps to take to consolidate your companies and report at a consolidated level. This help note Consolidate Multiple Organisations will walk you through the process.

Re-Group Account Structure

To re-order or summarise your chart of accounts, create Account Trees. You can then add the account tree to your report. You can also used the ADVANCED setting in Row Data to include Business Units as Rows for Income for example

Dynamic Templates

This gives you the option to design your own tailored reports and configure Actual, Budget and Variance columns as you need them. Each column can be set to have it's own Period and Business Unit configuration, or if preferred it can be constructed to run off the General Settings in the Report Builder screen.

Legacy Designer Templates

If you have existing templates that have been configured in the Legacy designer, select from the Legacy Templates section of the Report > Builder screen. Please note for new tailored reports we recommend using the Dynamic Report Builder for ease.
