New: Dynamic Report Builder

  • Added Dynamic Report Templates for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet layouts. Insert Actual, Budget and Variance columns and reorder them with drag‑and‑drop. Each column supports custom period ranges and data sources for maximum flexibility.

  • Added number formatting options, allowing values to be displayed in thousands or millions and decimals to be set directly in report criteria.

  • Enabled Balance Sheet by Business Unit, allowing dynamic Balance Sheet templates to be filtered by business unit.

  • Updated subtotals so account tree totals now appear at the bottom by default, with an option to keep the Calxa original for a more condensed layout.

  • Added traffic‑light indicators for variance columns, with configurable colours and icons managed through Report Styles.

Coming Soon

More dynamic template enhancements are arriving in March 2026, including:

  • Grouped columns with shared period ranges, displaying a single group header with Actual, Budget and Variance sub‑columns.

  • Multi‑period groups, repeating column sets monthly, bi‑monthly, quarterly, half‑yearly or yearly.

  • Business unit comparison groups, repeating column sets for selected business units to create side‑by‑side comparison reports.
