The Report Header fields can be customised directly in the Dynamic Template. It is the primary header at the top of the page, and does not repeat on subsequent pages of the report.

TIP 💡Dynamic Placeholders: Typing the forward slash "/ "

opens a dropdown of available dynamic values you can insert into any cell in the builder.

Report Headings

The standard Report header in Calxa is the Report Title & Organisation Name

and is expressed as above as the default behaviour. The meta data below the box will show what this is going to report for you.

If you wish to change this information, you can select from the available data merge fields by using the / on your keyboard to show the available options. You can then select from this list if for example, you wanted to reverse the order. Additionally you can directly type into the cells either with or without merge fields.

Custom Period option allows you to set a report period in line with custom date settings in the Report columns.

The default Sub header reports on the date range for your overall report, you can choose any of the Merge field options or type directly into the cell to reflect the report as a whole.

Choose Custom period to set a specific period and combine multiple custom periods to build any date range that matches your report columns.

Tip 💡 If your Report Style has a custom header this will override the Template setting. To prevent this from happening, copy your Report Style, give it a new name to differentiate, and then toggle OFF the Advanced Setting.
