This release lays the foundation for our all‑new Dynamic Report Builder, arriving in February 2026. Users will notice the following changes:

Improved: Report Builder (Select templates)

The Report Builder has been redesigned to support the introduction of the Dynamic Templates menu. The new layout provides a more intuitive experience, with improved filters that now include visual tags. These tags make it easy to see which filters are currently applied, helping users quickly identify and refine their selections.

New: Used in Bundles Filter

A new filter option, Used in Bundles, has been added to make it easier to locate report templates that are actively used within report bundles. This enhancement allows users to surface relevant templates more efficiently, ensuring better visibility and management of bundled reports.

Updated: Report Styles

The Report Styles settings has also undergone a layout change in preparation for new style properties that will be introduced with the Dynamic Report Builder. These properties include Primary and Negative text colours, Traffic Light icons, and Colour Sets. While these new options are not yet visible, they have been built into the system and will be enabled once the Dynamic Builder is released.

Updated: Legacy Report Designer Settings

For all new workspaces, the Legacy Custom Report Designer will no longer be enabled by default. Instead, it will be available as a workspace setting for teams that require it. Legacy custom templates will continue to be supported, but the Dynamic Report Builder will soon become the preferred option, so the Legacy Designer is being archived for those who don't already have customisations in place.

As part of this release, the Legacy Designer will only be enabled for workspaces where a custom template has been saved in a bundle or used within the last six months. In these cases, a separate Legacy Templates menu will be available, ensuring that existing custom templates remain accessible.
