This release introduces our all‑new Budget Collaboration experience, designed to make teamwork during budgeting and forecasting smoother, clearer, and far more interactive.

We’ve replaced legacy comments with a modern, conversational system that lets you create threaded discussions directly linked to the budget numbers. Comments are no longer restricted to a single cell; you can select any range of cells and add a shared comment covering the entire selection. Use comments to record assumptions, explain your workings, or highlight areas needing review.

You can also @mention teammates to bring them into the conversation, making feedback loops faster and more visible. Each thread supports replies and reactions, and once a discussion is complete, you can mark it as resolved to keep your workspace tidy while still preserving the history.

For reporting workflows, comments can be flagged as Reportable, allowing your assumptions to flow directly into the Budget Comments report. And as a small teaser, later this year, you’ll be able to automatically include these comments as footnotes on your reports.
