Scenarios are layers you can add into an existing budget to be able to review the impact a smaller change will have on the overall organisation.
They are constructed in the same way as a full budget
Type in adjusting values for either a positive or negative change to an existing budget
All the existing budget features are available including shortcuts
Formulas can reference either the same Scenario, a different Scenario or a Budget version
You can Preview the effect of a Scenario on a Budget in the Budget screen without needing to run a report.
Preview and Reports can include as many Scenarios as you like to review multiple options
You can create Scenarios on Business Units
Use scenarios to make incremental changes instead of duplicating budgets, thus maintaining organizational clarity
TIP π‘Include Scenarios in Reports
Open the report in the Builder screen, in the Budget Version setting, add one or more scenarios. Run the report to view the combined information, reflecting both the budget and scenario adjustments.
