Budget layout usability enhancements and Business Central Transactions

Budgets & Actuals Usability Enhancements

New: Adjust column width

We've introduced a column width setting to provide greater flexibility in the Budgets & Actuals editor. Increase column widths to accommodate larger values or decrease them to display more periods within the available space.

New: Remembered collapse and expand states

Now when switching layouts such as navigating from one Business Unit to another Calxa will retain the same collapse and expand sates of the headers including in the main view. Calxa will now also remember the last used bulk action such as Collapse all, Expand level2 through Expand all and save this for the next time you come back to the Budgets & Actuals view keeping this as our preferred default.

New: Keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts provide faster access to commonly used actions in the Budgets & Actuals layouts. We've expanded the available shortcuts to include column width adjustments and bulk expand/collapse actions.

The table below lists all keyboard shortcuts currently available. For more information about Budgets & Actuals layouts, views, bulk actions, and keyboard shortcuts, see Budgets & Scenarios: Views & Layouts.

New: Business Central transaction sync

A new Transaction Sync mode is now available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Transaction Sync extends reporting capabilities by enabling transaction-level reporting and analysis. It can also improve sync performance by transferring only transactions that have changed since the previous sync, reducing the amount of data processed during each update.

For setup instructions and sync configuration details, see Sync a Business Central Organisation.
