Connecting Sage Intacct to Calxa

How do I connect with Sage Intacct

This help note will show you how to sync a Sage Intacct organisation as well as change your sync options. For more info on how Calxa integrates with Sage Intacct, including the supported versions refer to Calxa and Sage Intacct.

To add a new Sage Intacct organisation refer to Add a Sage Intacct Organisation.

Sync Now

  1. Navigate to:
    Reports -> Report Tools -> Organisation Sync
    or
    Settings -> Organisation Settings -> Organisation Sync

  2. Identify the Organisation you wish to Sync in the list of Organisations shown and click SYNC NOW.

Sync Settings

Calxa provides options that can speed up your organisation sync process by excluding selected data such as the business unit lists.

  • Organisation Sync -> choose the Organisation -> Click Overflow menu ...

  • Choose Sync Settings

Alternatively, you can access the Sync Settings from the General Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Organisation Settings -> General.

  2. Sync Settings -> CONFIGURE SYNC SETTINGS

Sync Options

When you connect your organisation to Calxa, we import up to 10 years of monthly data for the Primary Tracking Options of Location and Department, and Transaction details for the last 2 years.

If you wish to change this setting, click the drop down to select the period you wish the Transaction sync to commence, from the options provided, up to a maximum of 2 years.

Then nominate the Categories you wish to sync to Calxa as Business Units, any additional Business Units selected will be sync'd by Transactions. Untick any that are not currently required to speed up the Sync. See Business Unit Configuration for further information regarding the configuration of which categories to sync.

Warning ⚠️ Deleted transactions are detected via Audit History, which may be delayed by up to 2 hours. This delay can prevent deletions from appearing in sync results immediately.

Daily Sync Settings

By default all Organisations will automatically sync daily, with any notification emails being sent to the Subscription Owner. See the Daily Auto-Sync help article for full details.
