Improved: Report Period Selection
We’ve made it easier than ever to understand and configure your report periods.
Here’s what’s new:
Meta Labels for Clarity All report period controls now display a helpful metadata label beneath your selection. For example, choosing “Financial YTD” will show the actual range (e.g. Jul 2025 – Sep 2025) so you know exactly what’s included without needing to refresh the report.
Consistent Multi-Period Controls Multi-period selection has had the most noticeable upgrade across reports, charts, and dashboard data sources. You’ll now follow a consistent, intuitive flow in all cases:
Choose a period type: Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly
Then select a Start period
Add an End period - or simply specify how many periods you want
Dynamic Configuration by Default We’ve retired the old static templates as the default. Dynamic period selection is now the standard, giving you more flexibility and control from the get-go.
Smarter Report Bundles Report Bundle kits now use dynamic configuration by default too. This means you can start with a bundle and easily adjust the period range without rebuilding from scratch.
