One of the opportunities Calxa provides is that you can report across a number of Financial Years, or for periods that cross over different Financial Years.
To be able to report Actuals vs Budgets for these different periods, you will need to budgets across the years in the same budget version.
In the Budget & Actuals screen you can navigate to the previous or next period by clicking the </> arrows at the top right.
If you find that gives you a blank screen, click the OPTIONS menu and toggle on (green) Show empty rows to display your Chart of Accounts:
