Change the date range for a Dashboard Tile

To change the date range in a Dashboard Tile, you must first have a Custom Dashboard, the Default Dashboards cannot be edited.

The easiest way to create a Custom Dashboard is to copy one of the Default Dashboards and then make the changes required. Please see the following help articles to start your customisation:

Dates in the Dashboards are controlled by the Data Sources that are attached to the individual tiles. There are a number of preset Data Sources, or for alternative settings you can create new ones.

  • Navigate to Dashboards > Dashboard Tools > Data Sources

  • Create New or Copy and update an existing Data Source

    • Configure the Dates required

      • Start Period

      • Fixed > Type and Number of Periods or

      • Dynamic periods > Type and end date

    • Check the Preview to confirm the correct information has been selected

  • Attach the Data Source to the Dashboard in Dashboard Manager

  • Go to the Builder screen

    • Select the Tile you wish to update

    • On the Cog, at the bottom, click the Data Source selected

    • Choose the Data Source to use for the Tile

    • OK and wait for the Dashboard Tile to Rebuild

    • SAVE CHANGES at the top right above the Dashboard
