To make changes to an existing Business Central Integration navigate to:

  1. Settings > Billing & Admin > Manage Organisations

    • This will pop out into a new Admin Tab

  2. From the Admin tab select Enterprise Integrations > Oracle NetSuite > Edit

Update Directory and & Application ID

The Directory (tenant) ID and Application (client) ID can be edited directly after entering the Edit Business Central integration.

  1. Update values as required and click SAVE CHANGES

Replace Secret Value

The secret associated with your Business Central integration expires after a time specified when you created the secret. Once expired secrets will need to be replaced.

Secret Expiry

The Expires label shows when the secret will expire based on the days entered when adding the secret.

Note: 💬 this value is an estimate based on the day's count which is manually entered at the time of setup. The actual secret expiry can be viewed in Entra ID Admin Centre->App Registrations->[Calxa App Registration]->Certificates & Secrets.

Replace Secret Value

If a secret expires or is revoked within Entra ID, you'll need to create a new secret in Entra ID and update the secret value in Calxa.

  1. First create a new secret in Entra ID Admin Centre
See the Entra ID Secrets heading in the Business Central Integration help article for more details

  2. Click REPLACE SECRET VALUE

  3. Enter the new Client secret (value) & Secret expiry (days) then click SAVE CHANGES

Update Calxa Extension in Business Central

Calxa integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central using a custom extension. As Business Central evolves, through system updates or new Calxa features, an updated version of the extension may be required to maintain compatibility and unlock enhanced functionality.

  1. Click DOWNLOAD to download the extension package

  2. Switch to Business Central

  3. Search for Extension Management and open the page

  4. Click Manage and select Upload Extension

  5. In the Select .app file field browse and find the package file downloaded from Calxa

  6. Toggle the Deploy confirmation and click Deploy

Note: 💬Extension Installation can take a few minutes. Search for Installation Status and open page to view extension installation progress.

Tip: 💡installing the same package version will fail. To reinstall the package uninstall the existing package first.
