How can I export reports as Excel files from Calxa?

Calxa allows users to export financial reports like the Profit & Loss or Balance Sheet into Excel format for external data analysis.

Key Features of Report Export in Calxa:

  1. Monthly Data Export - The P&L with Projected Total report allows exporting data broken down by month, rather than just yearly totals. This is helpful for detailed performance tracking throughout the year

  2. Excel Export Functionality - Both the P&L with Projected Total and Balance Sheet with Projected Total reports can be exported directly into Excel files. This functionality makes it easy to view and manipulate the data for each month of the year

NOTE: 💬Budget Formulas are not exported to Excel, only the resulting values

Steps to Export Reports:

  1. Open the Report Builder feature in Calxa

  2. Select the desired report type (e.g., P&L with Projected Total, Balance Sheet with Projected Total)

  3. Customise the date range and format settings as required

  4. Refresh the Report and check the result

  5. Click on the Export option and choose Excel as the file format

  6. File will export to your Browser Download Folder
