Build custom KPI formulas in the new KPI Builder plus improved inventory settings for cashflow.
New: KPI Builder
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are a performance measurement tool commonly used to evaluate the success of your organisation or business unit’s goals and targets. Calxa provides a default set of KPIs that you can use in your reporting, and now the all new KPI Builder brings custom KPIs to the browser. Check out the KPI Builder help article for details.
New: Inventory Settings
This new financial setting is designed to better handle inventory accounts in your cashflow forecasting and correctly handle the Inventory Turnover KPI. There has been a small improvement to the legacy desktop version of these settings where we now handle Periodic Inventory as well as Perpetual. See our step by step guides on - Budget for Inventory (Perpetual Method) and Budget for Inventory (Periodic Method).
Improved: Alphabetical ordering of Workspaces
The primary method for switching between multiple Calxa workspaces is accessible by clicking your name in the upper right corner of the main user interface. The list of workspaces shown in this dropdown menu is now sorted alphabetically as apposed to the creation date. For those users with access to many workspaces this should make it easier to find your way to the correct workspace.
Fix: MYOB Reconnect with Database Authentication
When setting up users in MYOB you can link them to a my.MYOB ID which is the standard and recommended approach, however you can also choose to have the users authenticate with a username and password setup in the MYOB database. Users authenticating in this way have been unable to use the Reconnect option in the Admin or Settings screens. Calxa would prompt for the local database credentials but users were not able to proceed any further. This problem has now been resolved.
Fix: Consolidation Rate
The following reports and charts were found to not apply the consolidation rate when consolidating multiple organisations. These reports and charts now correctly apply the organisation's consolidation rate.
- Business Unit - Account Type Summary
- Business Unit - Net Profit Summary
- Business Unit - Income & Expense Summary
- Cashflow Forecast Chart
