This support note will guide you through the process of inserting the date into your customised report footer using the Report Designer. It is assumed that you are familiar with the Report Designer. If this is not the case you should first read the Report Designer: General Concepts.


Add a Printed On Date into Page Footer 


  1. Open your chosen report template in the Report Designer

  2. Select Label form the left hand toolbar

  3. Click and drag a rectangle where you would like the printed date to be inserted

  4. Use the tasks menu to edit the text

  5. You can edit the font, size and style in the top format toolbar

    Step_5


  6. Select Page Info form the left hand toolbar

    Step_6


  7. Click and drag a rectangle next to the Printed on Label

    Step_7


  8. You can edit the font, size and style in the top format toolbar

  9. From the tasks menu set the Page Information field to Current Date and Time

  10. From the tasks menu click the (…) in the Format field

  11. Select the DateTime category and preferred format type then click OK

  12. You may now close the designer and run your report to check the results
